LED wash light hire — Equinox Fusion 300FXP

A moving wash light that also does effects. It tilts and pans from the lighting desk, mixes any colour you ask for, zooms from a tight pool to a broad wash, and its LED rings can be run individually for chases and patterns.

A wash light covers people and scenery in colour. A moving one lets you change where that colour goes without anyone touching a ladder, which matters when the same rig has to serve a dance number, a speech and a finale.

The 300FXP adds pixel control on top of that. The rings of LEDs in the head can be driven separately, so as well as a flat wash you get spinning patterns and chases out of the same fixture. For a dance show or a concert that is a lot of looks from one hire.

It runs from any lighting desk over DMX, and it has simpler modes if your desk is basic — you do not need a full pixel-mapping console to get value out of it. Four of them across the front of a stage will change a hall completely.

If you want the wash without the effects, the Fusion 260ZR is the plainer sibling and slightly cheaper to run in numbers.

How many

As many as the rig calls for — four across a stage front is a sensible starting point for a school hall, and we can source more for larger shows.

Do we need a special desk

No. It has simple modes for a basic desk and fuller modes if you have something more capable. Tell us your desk and we will set it up to suit.

Rigging

It clamps to a bar and takes a safety bond. If you have no bar, we can supply stands.

Power

An ordinary 13A socket. Several can share a supply — ask us how many.
